Committees

The various ASCE-NH committees were formed to meet the needs of the membership. However, member involvement is required in order for the committees to function. The committees offer an excellent opportunity for individuals to shape the direction of ASCE-NH.

• Do you think ASCE doesn't focus enough on technical issues? The Technical Committee needs YOU.
• Are you affected by the numerous changes in rules and regulations at the national, state, and local levels? Join the Legislative Involvement Committee.
• Do you feel that recent ASCE-NH sponsored programs are not of interest to you? The Program Committee needs YOU (or send suggestions to any member of the board!).
• Are you concerned with the way engineering services are procured? The QBS (Quality-Based Selection) Committee would love to hear from you.
• Do you have what it takes to be a creative writer? The Publications Committee needs your help.
• Are you interested in engineering history? The History and Heritage Committee may be just the group for you.
• Do you think ASCE doesn't focus enough on educational issues? The Education Committee is always looking for people like you.
• Are you impacted on a daily basis by construction issues? Consider joining the ACE (Architecture, Contracting, and Engineering) Committee.
• Do you have ideas to help ASCE-NH is heading in the right direction to meet the needs of the membership? The Strategic Planning Committee needs YOU.
•  Are you just beginning your engineering career and lost in the newness of it all? The Younger Members Committee is a great place to start.

As you can readily see, there are numerous opportunities for YOU to impact and influence both the day-to-day operations and long-term goals of ASCE-NH. This is YOUR Society and to make it work, the Society needs YOUR input and involvement.
