Upper Valley Branch

Objective:

To provide a forum for Civil Engineers in the Grafton and Sullivan counties referred to as the Upper Connecticut River Valley of New Hampshire to participate in the profession. The Upper Valley Branch operates as a subsidiary organization of the New Hampshire Section ASCE by electing officers, conducting fund-raising activities and organizing and executing meetings, field trips, seminars and other events of interest to its members. The Section provides financial and organizational support to the Branch in the form of space in the Newsletter, branch allotment, etc.

Organization:

The Branch shall elect members to the following offices: President, President-Elect, Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer and Director. Only subscribing members of the Upper Valley Branch are eligible to serve as officers. Term of office shall coincide with the Section's term. It is recommended that an officer of the Upper Valley Branch attend the monthly Section Board of Directors meetings.

Duties:

To organize periodic programs that may be on interest to Upper Valley Branch area members Serve as host to an annual joint meeting between the New Hampshire and Vermont Sections. To prepare and submit an annual report on Branch activities to the Section President.
